November Favourites
Hi my Beauty’s, can you believe we’re now in December and nearly the end of the year? Are you all ready for Christmas or are you like me and left it to last minute? I have a few people still to buy for, do all my wrapping & make Christmas cards. Here are my monthly Favourites.
Fashion
Jumpers
November is officially jumper weather, I loved wearing jumpers last month. Whether it was a light ribbed polo-neck jumper or bodysuit , or thicker woolly jumpers in a range of colours. Jumpers are essential for keeping you warmth in the cold uk weather. My favourite shop for jumpers is definitely primark.
Gloves
It’s officially glove season I rarely leave the house now without gloves, a scarf and a hat. These gloves are not only stylish but keep my fingers warm and toasty in the cold air especially when I have to hold on to the cold pram handles.
Beauty
Natural Classic Henna Hair Treatment Wax Hair Conditioner
Last month I started using this henna hair treatment wax conditioner once a week as my Lush Jasmine & Henna Fluff Ease Hair Mask is running low so I alternate between these two. This one is an absolute steal at £1.99 from bodycare. You apply this hair mask after shampoo and leave on damp hair for 15 – 30 minutes while the steam from the bathroom activates the conditioning process and then rinse off like you would normal conditioner. The tub says the conditioner contains the finest hair ingredients and that if you use regularly it will make hair lustrous and strong. After using I’ve noticed my hair is less brittle, shinier and softer. It also has a nice floral smell.
Barry M fall in love eye palette.
At the beginning of last month I was lucky enough to receive this palette from Barry m along with some other products from their range as a competition prize that I won at the end of October on their Instagram page. (Definitely worth entering competitions) this eye palette contains 10 matte eyeshadows in earthy and sunset hues. The colour payment of the lighter colours in this palette isn’t that great but for £6.49 you can’t complain, as the darker colours in this palette are super pigmented and rival my smash-box ablaze eye palette. The eyeshadow looks you can create with this palette is amazing for the prize. This eyeshadow palette has become one of my go to staples in my everyday makeup.
Lifestyle
Esscence pumkin waffles Scented candle
After reading all the reviews of this candle online, and how it’s a dupe for some of the more expensive candles that are only available in the US i.e. bath & body works. When I was in my local B&M I had to buy this candle to try after smelling it in store I couldn’t wait to get home and burn it. This candle has two wicks and the total burn time is 25 hours. It’s smells like waffles and warm syrup with a vanilla smell. It has a really homely smell.
Glade Warm Winter Hug – apple cinnamon and Nutmeg Wax Melts
These wax melts smell just like that a warm winter hug. As it contains 3 smells that just sum up winter and Christmas, apple, cinnamon and nutmeg. These wax melts when burning release the fragrance for hours and make all your house smell Christmassy (is that even a word)? The smell is not too overpowering and won’t give you an headache like you’ve just walked into the lush shop.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
I love this tv show and can’t recommend this enough to people to watch. It’s always sunny in Philadelphia is set primarily at Paddy’s pub in Philadelphia, and revolves around 5 borderline sociopaths who test the limits of one another and society on a daily basis. This series is definitely one of the funniest I’ve watched in a while. If your easily offended though then this comedy isn’t for you. Think friends cross with the dark humour of family guy. It’s available on Netflix at the moment but I’m unsure for how much longer, so get binge watching.
