Product Empties – AKA Rubbish Hoarding

Hi, my beauties, hope all is well. Can you believe we’re in February nearly, January’s been a whirlwind of a month & next month is set to be even busier as we are finally moving House. This post is all about products that I’ve used and are empty or products that didn’t work as well as I would have liked. Carrying on from last year instead of using loads of products at once and wasting them. I am trying to use a product till its empty, minimising waste and saving me money. This is a couple months of trash hoarding so in this post I will be focusing on skincare & makeup. Haircare and shower and body will hopefully be up soon.

Skin care

Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Cleansing Oil

I love this product and has changed the way I take my makeup off. I no longer spend hours rubbing my face with cotton pads as this oil melts my makeup off even waterproof mascara. It leaves my skin feeling soft & clean & looking radiant. It doesn’t dry out skin like foam cleansers can do. You only need one to two drops so it lasts for ages.

Repurchase: Already have done.

Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser

I used this moisturiser in the morning daily in the colder months, it left skin feeling soft & moisturised. It has a lightweight texture so wasn’t greasy & absorbed into the skin quickly meaning I could apply my makeup quicker, therefore, saving me time meaning I could spend a few extra minutes in bed.

Repurchase: No just for the reason I prefer the Garnier Moisture Bomb 3in1 Day cream as it leaves my skin more glowy.

Garnier Moisture Bomb 3in1 Day Cream Moisturiser

I loved using this moisturiser in the summer months it left my skin looking glowy & radiant, feeling hydrated & smoother. This moisturiser had a ultra fine texture which left behind no residue, meaning you could apply makeup straight after. It also has an SPF 10 saving on products.

Repurchase: Yes I probably will especially in the summer months as I loved how radiant it made my skin look.

Garnier Moisture Bomb Gel Cream Night.

I loved using this moisturiser in summer as its lightweight gel consistency left my skin feeling cool without leaving behind a sticky or oily residue. It left my skin looking visibly softer, radiant & plumper.

Repurchase: Yes I probably will for the warmer months as i liked how radiant it made my skin look.

Nip & Fab Dragons Blood Fix Plumping Serum

I bought this product over a year ago and have only just run out as you only need one pump it lasts ages & is worth the money. It left my skin feeling moisturised, dehydrated. It also left my skin looking visibly plumper & less red. This serum also doubles up as a primer for makeup.

Repurchase: Yes

MUA Ultra Fine loose Setting Powder

I didn’t get on well with the product at all as i found the texture reminded me of talcum powder and when applied to my face it looked cakey & made my skin dry.

Repurchase: No!!

Collection Extreme 24HR Felt Tip Liner

This eyeliner was easy to apply with the felt tip nib. However, i found that on my hooded eyes the product smudged & didn’t last all day & i ended up looking like a Panda.

Repurchase: No!! As it smudged & i ended up with Panda Eyes.

Stila Smudgestick in Lionfish

I loved using this eyeliner as it was a high pigmented brown shimmery shade. It had a twisted up mechanism so there was no need for a sharpener.

Repurchase: Yes

Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara.

This mascara was Just ok i was either underwhelmed or overwhelmed by it. It separated each lash but didn’t provide them with a lot of volume. It didn’t dry out as i had this mascara quite long.

Repurchase: No as it has been discontinued.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara In Very Black.

One of my all time favourites, its a bargain buy as it covers all lashes & adds length without being clumpy. For the price, it’s a bargain.

Repurchase: Yes i will.

Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Mascara

This mascara added volume & length to each of my lashes without being clumpy. It was very black.

Repurchase: No just for the reason that theirs better out there on the market.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara in Black/Brown

I didn’t like this product as for the price it left me underwhelmed. It didn’t give me the false lash effect like I would have hoped. It also dried up pretty quick.

Repurchase: No!!

Maybelline Age Rewind Eye Concealer

This concealer had great coverage even covering up my eye bags which is no easy task. It’s also great for using as a highlighter without looking dry or cakey. The built-in sponge made it easy to apply & it was easy to blend.

Repurchase: Yes I probably will.

* All opinions on products were my own and just because some of them didn’t work for me doesn’t mean they won’t work for you.
