Product Empties – Aka Rubbish Hoarding

Product Empties All.jpgHi, my beauty’s hope all is well, sorry for the lack of posting I’ve been just so damn tired lately with running around after a toddler all day and then work and then when I finally get time to blog I end up asleep. This post is the products that I mostly used up till they were empty with the exception of a few that I just didn’t get on with. This year I decided instead of just using products just a handful of times then becoming bored and forgetting their existed and moving onto the next best thing, I was not going to buy any till I used up products. I’ve gotta say finally finishing products is strangely satisfying. Anyways without further ado here are my product empties (rubbish hoarding since January -April).

Haircare

Pantene – In Shower foam Conditioner (Repair & Protect)

I was excited to try this novelty conditioner to see how it compared to normal Pantene conditioners. My hair just didn’t feel as conditioned as when using normal conditioners. I think this was due to having thick hair and the conditioners lightweight texture. It might work better if you have thinner hair.

Repurchase: No sorry Pantene I’ll stick to your normal conditioners in future.

Natural Classic Henna Treatment Wax

I was neither unimpressed or blown away by this product. It’s overall a good hair mask for how much it costs and the amount of product you get. It did leave hair feeling soft and shiny.

Repurchase: probably if we were to cross paths again.

Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo & Conditioner

These products smelt nice and left hair clean. They Also left my hair feeling super soft and looking shiny

Repurchase: yes when it’s on offer

Johnson’s Baby Shampoo

If your a parent, then it’s highly likely that this in your bathroom cabinet. Sensitive for baby’s skin and hair and eyes. It smells really nice too. It’s also great for cleaning makeup brushes.

Repurchase: already have done

Bayliss & Harding Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit Shower Cream & Bodywash

It leaves skin feeling soft and has a nice citrus smell.

Repurchase: No, because I already have a different Bayliss and Harding set ready to be used and I normally receive one of these gift sets for presents at birthdays and Christmas.

Facial Skincare.

Lush catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask

I didn’t finish using this as it dried up easy but on the times I did use it left skin feeling smooth and soft and eased redness. It also didn’t cause the skin to break out like other masks can do.

Repurchase: no the expiry date is too soon for me.

Revuele Black Mask (peel off) pro-collagen

I didn’t get on with this product at all. It felt good when on the skin, but didn’t remove blackheads, only hairs and wasn’t easy to remove. A week or so after use when the hairs were growing back it caused my skin to break out and didn’t feel great.

Repurchase: No!!!!

Nip & Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Cleansing Pads

These pads were great for saving time and left skin feeling clean and plumped up. Their removed makeup easily.

Repurchase: Yes if on offer.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

A great makeup remover that I probably will always use.

Repurchase: already have done. ✅

Simple Kind To Skin Dual Effect Eye Make-Up Remover.

I really disliked this product, it didn’t remove eye makeup easily at all and stung my eyes. The bottle also leaked that’s why it’s empty.

Repurchase: No!!

Body Care

Vita Coco Coconut Oil

I love this product, my holy grail product that I can’t live without. It’s the best thing to use on stretch marks and also great to use as a hair mask. It also works wonders at whitening teeth if you try oil pulling.

Repurchase: already have done ✅

Body shop Coconut Cream Body Scrub

This product didn’t suit me at all, it left my skin feeling like it was on fire.

Repurchase: No!!!

Body Shop Coconut Body Butter

This product smelt lovely and Coconutty. I love the smell of coconuts as it reminds me of holiday. This body butter left my skin feeling soft and moisturised. It wasn’t a greasy formula so you could get ready straight after.

Repurchase: Yes I would.

Superdrug My Little Star New Mum Nipple Cream.

I purchased this to use after the birth of Ava-Rose as I intended on breastfeeding but due to circumstances, I wasn’t able to. So me being me and been a cheapskate I didn’t want to get rid of this product so I googled if you could use it as a hand cream and foot cream and as it’s main ingredient is petroleum which is the main product In Vaseline you could. It’s quite greasy so I used it just before bed and I woke up with the softest hands and feet. So my top hack for baby soft hands and feet use nipple cream. It’s cheaper than most hand creams as well.

Repurchase: Yes!!

Palmers Cocoa Butter Original Formula – Solid

I’ve been a long fan of palmers cocoa butter products for years due to how good there are for Moisturising my skin and I love the chocolate smell. I was into oil based products when I purchased this. It’s a really good moisturiser and left my skin soft and smooth as it’s a solid formula it is quite oily so I did have to wait quite a bit before dressing. It also helped minimise the appearance of scars and stretch marks. A little of this product goes a long way so a tub lasts for a long time.

Repurchase: Yes.

Makeup

L’Oréal Infallible 24h Foundation

I purchased this after seeing a YouTuber recommend it and saying it was a dupe for the MAC studio fix fluid foundation as it has a yellowish tint. You know your girl loves a good dupe. This foundation was high coverage, easy to blend, lasted for a good 7 hours which is rare for me. It didn’t dry out my skin either. It lasted a long time as one or two pumps is all you need.

Repurchase: Yes I would buy this foundation again.

Avon Big Daring Volume Mascara

I loved this mascara as it did what it says on the label it provided my eyelashes with va-va volume. It did clump, however, I’m a fan of that look.

Repurchase: Yes I would.

All opinions are completely my own and just because I didn’t get on with certain products doesn’t mean you might not.

Thanks for Reading

Nicolle
