September Favourites

Hi, my Beauties hope all is well. September went by in a blink of an eye. I can’t believe we’re in October already. September for me was the month I tried my best to get my shit together, sometimes failing but overall I think I did a pretty good job. September so me return to work after having the summer holidays off and I also added a few new items of clothing to my wardrobe which I can’t wait to share with you all. How was your September and what were your favourites ??

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner – Lionfish

These days I rarely reach for Black eyeliner and instead have been reaching for a brown eyeliner as it makes my eyes look bigger. This eyeliner is high pigmented with a brown metallic shimmer shade. It’s also waterproof and you don’t have to ever sharpen it as its a twist up pencil.

Baltiste dry shampoo

Last month I used dry shampoo a lot more than usual I mean I’ve used it in the past, but not for its sole purpose of refreshing hair between washes. I normally use it when my hair needs a bit of extra volume. I’ve gotta say it’s been a life changer and got me a few extra days of not washing because let’s face it washing your hair is such a boring chore. Baltiste is the best dry shampoo on the market as it leaves hair smelling fresh and doesn’t have that powdery residue like some other dry shampoos have plus it’s not gonna break the bank. My top tip is to apply the night before, then in the morning, you will wake up with hair that feels clean and not greasy.

Fashion

Leopard Print

One print I’m loving this season is leopard print. Leopard print is everywhere at the moment all over social media, on the high street, and on the tv. It’s also made its way into my wardrobe last month I added a dress, top and trousers. After all leopard print is a neutral right?

Checks

Another print I’ve been loving this season is check print. Another print that’s everywhere at the moment is checks, I’ve added a coat, numerous skirts and accessories in the print to my wardrobe. I love how you can style checks you can either dress it up as 90’s grunge or 90’s Clueless or go sophisticated in a classic Prince of Wales check. I love both ways of styling checks.

Lifestyle

Glade volcanic Coconut Spray – coconut water sea salt minerals

I’ve used this air freshener over the summer and as summer came to a close sadly so did the sale of this limited edition spray (cue my sad face) My house smelt like I was on holiday over the summer thanks to this spray with notes of coconut water and sea salt minerals it definitely had a smell of the seaside but mixed with the smell of a pina colada what was not to love.

Car Masters: Rust to Riches

I binge watched this series in a couple days (don’t judge me). If you liked pimp my ride back in the day then you will love this as its a more sophisticated version. The series follows a crew at Gotham Garage who take a variety of vintage rare cars (scrap metal) and complete overhaul them into one of the cars to trade up for a showstopper to earn the big money.

The Seven Steps to Closure – Donna Joy Usher

I couldn’t put this book down it was so entertaining and had me literally laughing out loud in points. There’s some points in the book that most of us can relate to. If you like sex and the city then give this book a read. It follows Tara, a 30-year-old divorcee who still cannot get over her ex-husband (read wanker) leaving her for her cousin (read homewrecker). She then sets out to get over her ex by following a magazines article named 7 steps to closure, with nothing to lose and the support of her loved ones she sets out to complete the seven steps with the goal of closure.

If you guys have any book recommendations please leave me a comment.

Thanks for Reading
