The Trend Behind The Outfit
Leopard Print
Leopard print is another timeless classic that most fashionistas have at least one classic item of clothing in this print. In the 1950’s Dior created a range of accessories and leopard print then became the must-have print. In the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s leopard print was associated with rock stars. No one rocked leopard print quite like Blondie. Fast forward to modern day, leopard print is a classic print that is regularly seen on fashion icons like Kate Moss and Alexa Chung. The animal print was seen on this years Spring/Summer Catwalks at Stella Mccartney, Givenchy and Prada. Models at Versace were seen wearing the print head to toe. If you’re not brave enough to wear the print from head to toe. The one key rule to remember when wearing leopard print is to treat it like any black item in your wardrobe. For example, instead of wearing a black blazer with a slogan tee and jeans, you could wear a leopard print blazer. Leopard print also looks good when clashed with other prints especially stripes and spots. A simple way to incorporate leopard print into an outfit is by adding leopard print accessories. The colour red also looks great when paired with leopard print. Leopard print is here to stay as it was also featured on the AW18 catwalks at Tom Ford, Victoria Beckham and Calvin Klein.
