What I Got For Christmas 2018

Hi my beauties, hope all is well. Hope you all had a nice Christmas and if you don’t celebrate it hope you had a nice break with your family. Christmas was bittersweet this year as a family member who I always looked forward to seeing at Christmas is sadly no longer with us and I missed him greatly if you’ve ever experienced grief, why does it seem worse at Christmas time? I was incredibly spoilt & am truly grateful to all my family for my gifts and the fun we had over this break. I know there’s a love-hate relationship with these kinds of posts as it can come across as bragging but I don’t see it as that way I see it more as sharing the love and expression of how grateful I am for my family and gifts. Thank you to you all. So without further ado let me show you what I got for Christmas this year.

Is it really Christmas if you don’t get a new calendar for 2019. I’m interested in all things supernatural and would like to become more spiritual in the new year and each month this calendar shares daily colour correspondences, planetary motions, moon signs & phases, quick spells, tips & ideas for each month.

I’m looking forward to reading this book and learning how to read and understand the tarot after having my tarot read in 2017. This book explains in simple terms everything you need to know about the tarot it works with most standard decks of traditional tarot cards and features the stunning artwork of Danielle Noel.

Different than standard tarot cards these cards are said to help you connect with your intuition, provide guidance, help with healing & connect you with supportive energies.

Loungefly Disney Villains Print Purse

I love Disney Princesses but definitely think the villains are way underrated so I’m loving the fact that their finally having their moment in the spotlight. This purse is spacious and feels really good quality.

New Look Necklaces

2019 will be the year I hopefully up my jewellery game and I love these two necklaces. The first one is a silver layered statement necklace that has a bohemian vibe and the second one is a star & moon layered necklace.

Nastygal Star Of The Show Crop Top

I loved this top as soon as I saw it on Helen Anderson and when my sister asked if I wanted anything from Nastygal for Christmas I didn’t hesitate to send her the link to this straight away. I nearly cried when she said it was out of stock so I was so happy when I unwrapped this Christmas day.

Sainsbury’s fig Leave & Elderberry Scented Wax Candle.

I love candles even though I never seem to burn them please tell me I’m not the only one who collects candles but never burns them. This one smells nice and looks expensive.

Mary Poppins Towels & Coasters

Mary Poppins was one of my favourite musicals as a child. I’m yet to see the new film but it’s on my never-ending to-do list. These towels and coasters are a lovely addition to the house & will surely brighten up any day.

Lingerie

Who doesn’t love getting new lingerie for Christmas I know I do it’s one of those things that I hate buying for myself.

Sleek Makeup Coppered Up Giftset

If your a regular reader here at conquering the world in heels you will know that I’m a big fan of Sleek makeup especially their lip products. This gift set features an eyeshadow palette containing 4 bronze shadows and two black shadows in different finishes, a rose gold blush, a lip liner and a matte lip cream. 2018 was the year of Gin, I tried and tested various gin concoctions but my favourite remained this one.

Zoella Lifestyle Warm & Fuzzy travel cup & Beanie Hat Set.

I’m not a particularly big fan of Zoella as I think her products are overpriced however I do love the design and colour combo of this travel cup and beanie. I’ve worn the beanie hat a lot already and I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of this travel cup especially as its back to the reality of the daily commute.

Another hat to add to my ever-growing collection of hats.

Miss Selfridge Black Long Sleeve Victoriana top

I love the versatility of this top it looks great when paired with skirts and jeans. It has really nice intricate lace detailing and makes any outfit look a lot more dressed up.

Maybelline 12 days of Christmas Advent Calendar

Another gift to myself, I was browsing online the night before and saw that this calendar was £50. I love Maybelline products but I wasn’t about to spend £50 so when I was in Home Bargains and saw that this calendar was only £13. I picked up not only one for myself but one for an extra present for my mum. This was the bargain buy of the year as it contains 12 of Maybelline’s cult products such as lash sensational mascara, baby lips, strobing liquid etc.

Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Hairdryer Gift Set

This gift set came complete with a purple hairdryer, this fab floral case which is giving me Ted Baker vibes, hairbrush and sectioning clips.

Huawei Honour 7A mobile phone

After Novembers issues with technology, I’m looking at you mercury retrograde. I was in desperate need of a new phone but didn’t wanna buy one or spend a lot as I still have a year left on my contract. My other half purchased this phone for me & I love it so far. Switching from IOS to android was easier than I thought. I can also add extra memory via a memory card which is great for being a blogger. The battery life & camera is also better than the iPhone.

Iheart Revolution Mermaids Heart eyeshadow Palette

This palette will be great for summer as it contains 12 eyeshadows in summer shades from blues, greens, golds & bronze shades in a variety of different finishes, great for holiday.

A Holiday

I was beyond shocked when I unwrapped this holiday brochure and my dad & partner said they were treating me, my partner & daughter, for a holiday. I nearly cried. So expect to see conquering the world in heels doing just that and going on holiday this year.
